Trail Days is the Appalachian Trail’s biggest, baddest, bestest, hiker trashiest festival of the year.  If you love the Appalachian Trail and its culture, Trail Days is 100% your jam.

What: The 28th annual festival celebrating the Appalachian Trail way of life.  Highlights include a hiker parade, talent show, gear giveaways, parties, food, craft, and gear vendors, and a densely packed field of hikers, lovingly known as “tent city”.  Get the full schedule of events here.

When: Friday, May 15th –  Sunday, 17th, 2015.  Events begin as early as Saturday, May 9th and the week leading up to that Friday, but the bulk of the activities kick off on May 15th.

If you’re heading down to Damascus, Virginia for the 28th edition of this famed celebration, be sure to stop by the Appalachian Trials booth, located in the craft section at #203 (pictured below).   You’ll also have the opportunity to snag some books, t-shirts, meet and greet with Zach “Badger” Davis & many of Appalachian Trials writers, and to win some very cool prizes, including some SmartWool swag.  Holler!
