I’m Alex and am choosing to define myself by the adventures I take. By trade, I’m a cook. For a long time that was the only thing I defined myself as and I was not balanced. I decided to step away from the kitchen and hike the Appalachian Trail. I did, returned to the kitchen, quit again, and now am preparing to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. I love to cook badass food and to do crazy things like take walks across the country. I’m not sure where life is headed but for now, North will do!
