Week 1….sucked!
We started on the afternoon of March 28th. After arriving in Georgia we headed for the southern terminus. My sister drove us down and
20 days and counting!
And then I invited my 21 year old son, Dude, to come along on the trail. I realized all of my mother's fears and then some. Balancing my mother's fears with my own motherly fears has sucked been interesting, to say the least.
