[VIDEO] How to Keep Your Parents From Jumping Off A Cliff During Your Thru-Hike

If you’re planning on thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail, you’ve probably already encountered the all too predictable scenario that is your parents completely losing their shit.  It makes sense, all their basic instincts want you to not die, and the idea of living amongst bears, rattlesnakes, and the cast of Deliverance is in direct conflict with this.  After doing your research, however, you learn that the Trail is not that dangerous, however, trying to convince them of this is not easy.

So how do we talk them off the ledge?

Kori Feener is here to the rescue as she shares some tips which proved helpful during her thru-hike.

Side note: Let’s give a big round of applause to Kori for the first Appalachian Trials vlog!  Look for more like these in the weeks to come.  If you have any questions you’d like answered, simply input them in the comments below.
