Millet LD Hybrid Langtang Hooded Down Jacket

A few weeks ago I bought a Millet LD Hybrid Langtang Hooded Down Jacket , and the weather has finally gotten cold enough so that I could test it out! I went to the local pier to fish for a few hours yesterday, and it gave me the perfect opportunity to see if the jacket could stand up to cold, windy, and humid conditions.

It held up great, and I was comfortable for the entire time! For any of you who haven’t spent much time on the Carolina coast, that’s pretty impressive seeing as the temperature can go from hot to frigid and back again in a snap! The jacket was really light and comfortable, and allowed for completely unrestricted movement. The cut is great, its long enough to keep me covered up even when my arms are above my head, and the arms are actually long enough for me! The arms are even long enough that I can use the thumb hole without any tightness.

Besides being warm, light, and comfortable, its also really flattering. The fact that its a down jacket and I don’t look even a little bit like a marshmallow is pretty impressive. I love the colors, I went with the black and neon yellow, but there is also a teal version available. Its extremely breathable, it has panels of breathable fabric on both sides and on the arms. The jacket also proved to be lucky, as on a really slow day of fishing, I was one of the only ones to catch anything!

The hood on this jacket is AWESOME. I’m not one to like hoods usually because I find them restricting and just annoying in general. But this one is thin, light, and has a little elastic on the edge of it to keep it from falling off. It was really breathable, and let just enough wind through to keep me from getting too warm.

Overall this jacket was a great buy that I am super psyched about! Know what else I’m psyched about?
