Hi y’all! My name is Alex and I am attempting my first thru-hike this year. I am a 21 year old recent college graduate (go Rams!) with one plan. To complete the thru-hike that I have been planning since high school. I set this goal for myself before I had ever been on a real hike, but I had a feeling that it was something that was right for me. Ever since, I have been exploring the outdoors and preparing myself. I am set to start hiking on March 29th and I have no plan but to summit Mt. Katahdin. I have done a thorough job of uprooting my life so that I can limit any temptation to leave. All that is left to do now, is walk.
