My Simplified Resupply Strategy
Preparation plays an essential part in a thru-hike starting smoothly. Some preparation has proven to be fun and exciting: researching, purchasing and testing new gear, getting into top physical condition, making new connections with hikers, and sharing stories and experiences. On the other hand, some preparation has seemed daunting. In my case, that included my resupply strategy. Especially as an international hiker who doesn’t have the luxury of having friends and family sending packages from home.
After taking into consideration a half-dozen recent thru-hikers and resources (mentioned below) this is my current resupply strategy. I’ll be sending myself all my mailed boxes from earlier on the trail.
Sharing Is Caring
I’ll continue updating the spreadsheet above if any changes are made. With that being said, if you disagree with or have a suggestion on how I can improve, please reach out and share. If you want me to email the document to you, don’t hesitate to ask.
See you out there.
