Thru-hiking season is in full throttle on the #PCT! And there are some great photos floating around thanks to all the hikers out there! Unfortunately, if you are reading this right now, you probably aren’t out on the trail. Good news, this is the next best thing!

It was so cold this morning coming down to Wrightwood, CA. The winds were incredible and we were walking among the clouds! I didn’t want to stop as we were only a few miles from the road and my glasses were foggy. But I dropped my pack and pulled out my camera. I waited a few minutes for one of the hikers to come down the trail and the light was perfect for just a few seconds, pretty happy I stopped. The desert is unbelievably beautiful. Every day has brought a new appreciation for what we’re doing. When people say the trail provides, they mean it. We waited for almost two hours for a hitch into Julian, California. When we did get a ride we were picked up by Debbie, a trail angel who goes by Mary Poppins. Just like Mary Poppins, Debbie surprised us with magic in the form of a bed to sleep in, dinner, showers, and laundry. We have been so blessed by the kindness of people and I can’t wait to experience more.
