CLASS OF 2022

In preparation for the upcoming day, almost every morning Paula and I take a short walk around the neighborhood.  During this morning’s walk, it hit me: Class of 2022.  I have been a part of many classes; I graduated high school with the class of 1978, college, and graduate school.  Each of those classes, in some way, was filled with good times, bad times, scary times, sick times, happy times, sad times, and a whole range of emotions we have all felt as we plowed through those life milestones.

Paula and I perceive the Class of 2022 will be no different.  Elementary school will be a nervous time. We will be just starting, not knowing where to put our tent or how to light a fire.  By middle school, we will know enough to be dangerous. What was once a learning experience is now second nature. Finally, in high school, while there will be plenty of life lessons to come, we are now in our element.  The finish line is in sight, we must get there. Graduation night, we walk upon the stage grab our diploma, say our goodbyes, and wonder where the time all went.

Thank you for reading.

Love and Happy Hiking,
Pat and Paula

    Hi Pat and Paula
I start March 17th looks like a rainy Friday.
Hope to see my fellow Floridians on the trail.

      Hey Bluewtr!

With Paula and I starting off slow and then backing off, you will more than likely be finished, and basking in the glow of success while we are still crossing the GA/NC line.
