Garden State’s Appalachian Trail Thru-Hike Gear List
It took me three months and 25 days to hike the AT. I’ll show you all the gear I started with, and what I summited with. Key items are linked below.
Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite: (Popped, replaced with UberLite)
Silk Liner:(Got rid of when it got warmer out)
MSR Pocket Rocket 2: (Stopped cooking, got rid of)
Sawyer MicroSqueeze (Clogged quickly, replaced with full-size Sawyer)
Baseball cap (Ran into trees while wearing it, got rid of)
Pot and other cookware: (Stopped cooking)
SmartWool Bra (Needed to size down, got a new one)
Wool socks (didn’t need heavy socks past winter)
Patagonia Baggies: (Got cheaper ones when had to size down)
