Read Between The Lines

  1. Trees in Fog

    Trees in Fog

On a recent flight to Houston the realization that I won’t be flying for 5-6 months hit me. What else will I miss out on during my hike?
Lines, crowds, traffic and political ads. These are enough inspiration for me! Life seems to be spent/wasted entangled with one or more of these daily nuisances.
    Lines:
Airport, grocery store, post office, drive-thru, Starbucks…I could go on but I won’t!
Impatient, inconsiderate people in all of them.
    Crowds:
Not a fan! The more the merrier mantra some of you thrive in doesn’t thrill me. Never has!
    Traffic:
As a commercial driver for many years you would think I’m used to traffic, idiots in 4 wheelers ( anything but a semi), traffic jams, wrecks and the many other obstacles encountered while driving. Not me, at least not for a few months.
Watched TV lately? Then you know it’s presidential politics in America this year. And guess what? I don’t have to see a single ad from March to August.

If I haven’t inspired you by now, you better check your pulse. Get your pack out and start planning. Oh, forget that, did I mention I hate crowds?
